Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. This week we're thinking about which character we'd like to be for a day.
1. Katsa from Graceling by Kristin Cashore
She's awesome and with a Grace like hers you can afford to be adventurous without having to own a fortune! New lands and sights here I come...oh and there's Po too :-)
2. Tessa from the Infernal Devices
Before she gets thrown into the action-adventure that is the daily life of being a Shadow Hunter, Tessa lived with an overprotective aunt and lived most of her life with her head in a good book - dreaming of different worlds and adventures. Then there's the fact that without meaning to she becomes a sort of femme fatale - watch out Jem and Will!
3. Hermione Granger from Harry Potter.
Bad hair day, book nerd girl grows into beautiful, intelligent young woman...who happens to be a kick ass witch. I'd pick a day to be her when Voldemort's not intent on killing all those that aren't pure witches and wizards!
4. Amy from Across the Universe
She lives in space people! She may visit another planet! Her parents are in cryo...okay, that kind of sucks for her, but all the tech is wow!
5.Bitterblue by Kristin Cashore
When the whole kingdom's starting to heal, rather than before. Monsea sounds like a wonderful place to be without the atrocities that happened. I think there would be a spirit of renewal and I 'd like to be at the heart of that for a day; helping rebuild a community.
6... I ran out of time, was talking to a friend and now I've got to get to work. If I could be someone else for the day I'd be an x-men mutant that can duplicate themselves and be in three places at once.

I was thinking of choosing Amy, too! I think it'd be awesome (if not a bit scary) to explore the ship, all the keeper levels and whatnot. And if I could coerce Elder into it, I'd totally check out his quarters too. I'd also choose a day where I could watch Harley paint, because even though he absolutely broke my heart in the book I think it would be amazing to see him work and the picture he'd produce.

Love the teaser, Confessions of an Angry Girl sounds great. I would quite like to swap with Hermione too - but yes, on a quiet day so I could enjoy my time at Hogwarts!
ReplyDeleteAmy, lol, yeah I thought of picking her too, but that parent thing sucks! Hermione Granger would be fun. She's smart and can read lots of magic(al) books. Woohoo! Also hanging out with Ron and Harry would be awesome.
