Hope you all like the new look of YA's the Word! I love it :) It wasn't easy to decide on the banner, because I See Designs created such beauties...but in the end the one you see above was the one for me.
I can't show you all of the other designs, but I See Designs is showing one of the other designs in their portfolio, so I can show it here too:
What I love here is the images coming out of the book, it gives you a good indication of the worlds that words can conjure.
The common theme for my favourite banners was that of a reader lost in a good book. The third image that I really liked - and can't show here - had the silhouette of someone leaning against a tree and reading. The theme was in black, white and red and it was really striking, but as we all know that's not the one I chose.
When I saw the reader in the hammock my eye just kept going back to the banner, and that's how I knew I'd found 'the one'.
If you'd like to, let me know what you think of the new look.
